Hi Emily :) I discovered Pomelo two days ago and read the archive in the bath last night! Love your writing! I'd love to hear what you have to say about therapy - I'm currently in trauma therapy which has absolutely helped me, but I'm conscious of the natural progression out of therapy and how it will and should come to an end. I linked Haley's essay today too so we're obviously on similar thought-paths on this one at the moment! The topic of this essay is also something I've been thinking and writing a lot about lately - especially how online culture around 'you've got to love yourself before anyone else can' isolates the individual and makes them feel as though they need to fix something in themselves first (like you said in this essay) when actually being around the right people and especially community can accelerate the process. As ever, it's one of these binary sayings that makes the round on the internet without much analysis - so thanks for talking about this!!
Hey Charlie! :) Thank you so much for your comment and for reading my archive, that's so awesome!!! I hope to write about my experience in therapy, how it helped and how my vision of it has changed over time. Therapy is definitely something that changed my life and I'm grateful for having been able to do it and I'm also extremely grateful for all the tools I've gathered thanks to it; none of that's changed. The big shift I've felt has especially been related to the idea that we all need therapy because we're broken and should constantly try to become the best version of ourselves we can be. But as I said before, I still need to put my thoughts onto paper and write a good essay about it. You're comment has been an extra boost for me to consider doing it sooner rather than later! :) Thank you!!!
luved it so much 🥹❤️❤️

Las imágenes que acompañan tu texto me parecen: acertadísimas 🐑
Esto me hace muy feliz porque me tiro casi el mismo tiempo buscando imágenes que editando jajajaj
